- 권수경(고신의대 내과)심혈관질환은 당뇨병 환자의 사망률 및 이환율을 증가시키는 주요 원인이므로, 당뇨병환자에게 혈관합병증의 선별검사 및 심혈관질환의 위험인자 관리는 매우 중요하다. 본 세션에서는 두 개의 주제로 구성되어 있는데, 첫 번째는 <당뇨병 환자에게 숨어있는 심혈관질환에 대한 선별검사가 과연 필요한 것인가?>에 대해 심장내과의사와 내분비내과의사 관점에서 각각 발표할 예정이다. 두 번째로는 <한국인 제2형 당뇨병 환자의 이상지질혈증 치료에 있어서 LDL 55 mg/dl 미만의 극초고위험군이 과연 필요한가?> 에 대한 주제로 찬성과 반대 입장의 의견을 발표할 예정이다. 두 주제 모두 아직까지는 명확한 결론을 내리기 어려운 내용으로 심도깊은 토론을 통해 당뇨병 환자의 진료에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
